Vancouver’s outdoor vegan festival is coming back for its third year. According to its website, Veg Fest Vancouver 2013 will take place on July 27.

The organizers at Saving Animals Canada recently posted the following update:

The date for Veg Fest Vancouver 2013 has finally been set. We will be located in the same place as last year, on Granville Street, but this time taking up more blocks so there will be plenty more food and activities to enjoy.

In June 2011, the first Veg Fest Vancouver constituted a section of the Main Street Car-Free Festival on Car-Free Vancouver Day. As part of the city’s Viva Vancouver program, the second edition of the festival occupied Granville Street between West Georgia Street and Robson Street on August 4, 2012.
